While in Szchesferhavar we stayed with a couch-surfer Eszter and her family. Their favorite near-by place was Lake Balaton so we made a day-trip to check it out. The weather wasn’t so good but the lake was nice to visit.
After couch-surfing we went to a bed and breakfast run by a lady who couldn’t speak a word of english. We had some fun trying to communicate with her via Google Translate. Sometimes she would disappear to her room for ten minutes than come out with a list of questions for us in english which we would try to answer.
Our next stop wasn’t very far away, in fact it was just the next town over. There we stayed with Kata, her family and her kitten. Kata took us to her favorite spots including to hear her choir sing.
The weather was pretty miserable for our time in Hungary but we meet some nice people who made our visit here really good.
